Fall is not my favorite holiday to decorate for because I’m not a huge orange, yellow and burnt red fan! But over the years, I’ve learned that the fall is really about bringing a little coziness to your home! We transition out of the tulips and hydrangeas to the fall, foliage leaves. We transition out of the cooler, sleek fabrics to warmer, cozy materials! And something that always comes in the fall at our house is extra lighting! As the time changes, those accent lights really make your home feel more cozy!
Over the years I have decorated with yellows, creams, pretty much anything that’s not orange! But this year we are going for burgundy, golds, and neutrals!
One thing I love about this man that I came up with this year is that it transitions beautifully into Halloween and Christmas with just a few changes!
